Spring into action!

Spring Into Action Artwork

With spring a matter of days away, here is a guide to what is hot for the kitchen as the weather temperatures are set to increase too!

Two toned kitchens are very much in this year, especially for those looking for a traditional style.

Working with a navy or racing green alongside a natural wood and a white quartz worktop is just divine! Use this trend to really explore different designs and colours, to make your kitchen as unique as you.

Practical and stylish storage will ALWAYS be a trend, and as we head into April, this is no different!

In a time when we all strive to declutter, especially in kitchens where we need so many ‘things’, from ingredients to cooking utensils. Smart, concealed storage is a savour for the aesthetic of kitchens!

Make others green with envy!

In perfect timing for St Patricks Day, Green is very much in, this spring! It could be introduced with wallpaper, however it’s more likely to take the form of tiles and units in tones of emerald and forest green.

Deep forest greens can be balanced out with shades of beige and latte, whilst smoky glass and soft metallics will bring true opulence to any kitchen.

Statement taps

Gone are the days of a standard chrome sink tap. With new sizes, styles, textures and colours; there are eye catching taps to suit all styles of kitchen.

Brass, industrial style taps with unusual handles and interesting features are a great way to draw the eye and compliment the kitchen. You can also use a tap to keep your kitchen streamlined by teaming it up with similar finishes with cupboard and draw grips to keep a consistent style.

Hidden appliances

While there are an abundance of new tech and gadgets in our kitchens this year, we don’t necessarily want to see them. Integrated appliances are still really obvious in location, so concealing them will aid the look and feel of a kitchen along with freeing up worktops.

Vibrant accents can really add a sharp splash of colour into any kitchen and make it fun for all the family!

Some people are taking a more light-hearted approach by introducing primary hues and quirky finds into the heart of the home. Try adding a tiled splashback with mismatched chairs in different colourways, to add interest, while a dark painted wall will anchor the room.
